Societal security is a contextual concept that has been the subject of many studies in Iran. However, with a diversity of research, each investigating various aspects of the concept, a comprehensive definition of societal security has never been achieved. Adopting a descriptive-analytical approach and using the meta-analysis method, the present article tries to collect the diverse range of researches in this field and systematically analyze the results and provide a comprehensive interpretation of this concept in Iran. Data were collected by a documentary method. According to the findings, societal security studies are categorized into eight themes: the feeling of security, Islamic values, police, urban space, mass media, women, family, and national and ethnic identity. The presentation of a comprehensive interpretation of societal security was followed by placing the scope of the basic concerns of society under the expanded concept of identity - modern, Islamic and Iranian. The result is that the identity elements of Iranian society is the basis of societal security and the imbalance between the layers of identity causes societal insecurity.

The main purpose of this article is to provide a model of transformation process from modern subject (with emphasis on Descartes and Kant theories) to post structural and postmodern subject considering the integration and autonomy dimensions of the subject in its classical meaning and also to study the relationship between subject and social in theoretical approach of Julia Kirsteva .Social aspects of Kirsteva’s theory set her apart from the other post structuralists and theoretical pioneers. In this theoretical study, we discuss how Kristeva discovers heterogeneous structures in fields of language, subject, and society in a theoretical pattern, and how she restores, the social, psychological, and linguistic dimensions of the subject via decentralization in each of these areas. This decentralization is understood by emphasis on concepts such as "semiotic" at the linguistic and philosophical levels, "revolt" and "other" at the social level, and "unconscious" at the psychological level. This article finally discusses the necessity of accompanying the semiotic and the symbolic at each level of the social, psychological, and linguistic and in the dynamic relationship of mind, language, and society. It also explains how theoretical issues related to transposition of semiotic and symbolic systems can pave the way of explanation of social and identical discourses.
