Abstract

The purpose of generational studies is the scientific classification of different generations,the explanation of intergenerational differences,and the investigation of fundamental changes in societies,such as generational separation. The research was carried out with the qualitative content analysis method with the aim of creating a new understanding and formulation of the global studies of Generation Z in 2023.The purpose of applied research and its method is descriptive-analytical.Data collection was done by documentary method and out of 104 studies found,80 articles were used to discover basic concepts and dominant themes.Research findings:Generation Z or digital natives, due to being born in the age of the Internet,learning communication and access to social networks, the first global generation of young people, with conceptual titles such as: Net generation, digital identity,more aware, pluralistic,consumer oriented,influencer and are known to be self-centered. Research results, the field of study"Economics and Management" with(59 cases)frequency among specialized fields,the Asian continent with(46 cases)frequency in terms of geographical distribution and the country of Indonesia with(16 cases) frequency among all the countries of the world,prominence have meaning The comprehensiveness and extent of scientific and academic research and studies all over the world shows the importance of the current situation,lifestyle and future of this global generation.
