Man in Iranian mythology: a critical reading of the concept of myth as a system of human cognition

Abstract
Human cognition had always been one of subjects of human rumination and consideration. Human cognition is accomplished in a framework of different intellectual systems include legendary one which has presented human subject in a different way from that of science and philosophy. The departure place of human that is found in the form of a definite individual, he is the forefather of mankind. A legendary human is an allegorical creature. In zoroastrian narratives, kayoomars is the first model of human whom ahooramazda has created along with the other first humans, in additions to being the first created a long with the other with the other first humans, in additions to being the first created human by ahoora, kayoomars isalso the first human who is incited to do his destined prophetic mission on resurrection day. According to the documents, it is probable that kayoomars, beyond what is Zoroastrian belief, is the coomon belief had been current before Zoroastrian religion commonality. So it might be possible to refer its background to a more ancient time.
