Abstract
Home emotional, sentimental concept, derived from ontology, experiences, social and cultural structure. Tehran developing carry change in structure, form of homogeneous architecture, ended combined lifestyle. Social, political developments transformed "meaning of home" , "sense of belonging" that sociology has little attention to. Distraction of customs and beliefs, cultural entanglement in a transcultural form, role of home and representation of meaning in the feeling of Berger and Luckmann consider as absence of meaning in modern world due to neglected of semantic, cultural needs, Heidegger main factor is "sense of place lessness", Bourdieu "sense of not belonging to the place". The aim is to reconsider the "meaning of home" in cultural cycle in urban development from the "inner-city migrant". Phenomenological method to rethink the dualism (objective, subjective), understanding the current world is chosen. Narrative of the experience by moving from a traditional to a modern house, in-depth interviews, projection techniques to depict the experience of citizens. The result show society does not overcome material and economic needs, the meaning of home is focused on needs of security, peace, satisfaction, maintaining the status quo due to economic instability and lack of desire to have a house according to individual wish
