Abstract
Disabled sports are a significant symbol of social justice and the empowerment of individuals with disabilities. Cultural management in Paralympic sports teams plays a key role in enhancing team performance and cohesion. The aim of this study is to design and develop an integrated cultural management model for Iran’s Paralympic sports teams using a mixed-methods approach and exploratory sequential design. Initially, qualitative data were collected and analyzed through semi-structured interviews with 12 sports culture experts to extract cultural management indicators. Based on the qualitative findings, a researcher-made questionnaire was designed and distributed to 79 cultural sports coaches to examine the validity and importance of the indicators quantitatively. The results of quantitative analyses, including factor analysis and tests of validity and reliability, confirmed four main dimensions—managers, coaches, athletes, and technical-executive staff—as the most influential indicators in the cultural management of Paralympic teams. This model can contribute to improving cultural planning and policymaking in disability sports and provide a suitable foundation for sustainable cultural development and enhanced team performance.
