Abstract
The present study was designed and implemented with the aim of analyzing the situation of nomophobia among young people in Tehran who use mobile phones to be present in cyberspace. This study is applied in terms of purpose, descriptive in terms of research type, its technique is survey and the measurement tool in this study is a questionnaire. The statistical population includes all young people (both men and women) aged 20 to 35 in Tehran, which, according to the information provided by the National Statistics Portal, is 3,278,929 people. The measurement tool includes the Nomophobia Questionnaire by Çağlar Yıldırım (2014). The questionnaire was distributed and completed among the youth of Tehran via Google Form. The results of the analysis of the research findings showed that the highest level of mobile phobia was related to the statement "I would be upset if I could not use my smartphone and its features when needed" with an average of 3.66 (on a scale of 1 to 5), followed by the statement "I would be upset if I could not search for information on my phone" with an average of 3.47.....
