The Sociological Analysis of Cultural Capital and Subjective Well-Being (Happiness Feeling and Quality of Life) of Tehrani Families

Abstract
The present article aimed to analyze sociologically the cultural capital and subjective well-being (Happiness Feeling and Quality of Life) of Tehrani family. The method was survey descriptive and the statistical population consisted of all spouses of Tehran 22 districts during 2023. The sample case was consisted of 400 members studied in random cluster way through Cochran formula. The instrument of study was researcher-made questionnaire which had verified content validity. The Reliability through Cronbakh alpha that was 0.92 subjective well-being, 0.83 happiness feeling, 0.93 subjective quality of life and 0.89 cultural capital. The research’s theoretical framework of subjective well-being was determined through Veenhoven’s theory for happiness feeling and Philips’ theory for subjective quality of life, the cultural capital concept also was estimated through Bourdieu’s theory. The obtained results if Pearson Correlation Coefficient demonstrated a meaningful effectiveness of cultural capital and its dimensions on Tehrani families' subjective well-being and its dimensions. The results of multiple regression revealed that the dimensions of cultural capital can determine 54% of family subjective well-being, 19% of happiness feeling and 56% quality of life through which the embodied cultural captal had the main effect, then the subjective cultural captal and eventually the institutionalized cultural captal.
