Abstract
This study has studied the evolution in the political orientation and performance of government agents resulting from the experience of political agency among the two major reformist and fundamentalist currents in Ahvaz city. The average age of the interviewees was 59 years, and out of the 30 interviewees, 21 were combatants, of whom 4 were veterans. The results showed that the changes in the political orientation and performance of the agents in the two major political currents are different, and a remarkable change has occurred in the reformist current compared to the fundamentalist current in the desired dimensions. The strict political and religious outlook of the government has had a significant impact on changing the beliefs and forming new beliefs of the interviewees. This research was conducted in the summer of 1400, which is already indicative of the changes that occurred in the social and political arena and religious attitudes at the end of the summer of 2022.
