Investigating the political trust status in Kermanshah province based on the Social Capital Report of 1393 and 1397.

Abstract
Political trust is one of the important branches of trust that is evaluated in the relationship between people and the government, and a indicator such as the legitimacy of governments is related to it. Political trust can mainly be examined and measured at three levels: trust in agents, institutions, and the political system.



This article seeks to examine and analyze the status of political trust in Kermanshah province in the 1390s, using secondary analysis method, the findings of two national surveys in 1393 and 1397 under the title "Social Capital Report" have been studied and analyzed. In this research, relying on the institutional approach, people's trust in institutions and political agents is evaluated.



The findings of this research indicate that political trust among the people in Kermanshah province has been declining over the years under study. Additionally, the results show that political trust in Kermanshah province is lower than the national average. At the end of the research, considering the geographical coordinates and the diverse ethnic and religious fabric of this province, solutions for enhancing the level of political trust in this province have been proposed.
