Abstract

Non-convergent active factors in society, always brings about changes that are, more than anything else, the result of the contradictory functions of these factors. Interaction between the status quo and the new factors in any society, bring about some changes compatible with its capacities. These changes are usually divided into two factors: Intrinsic, and Extrinsic. The Intrinsic changes do not usually bring about social disturbance and are not considered as a threat for the society and the present structural balance. But, for extrinsic changes there is the possibility that the ordinary process of change in social structure result in disturbance. Especially in sudden changes it may result the collapse of social structure.
