نقد درون‌گفتمانی و روش‌شناختی جریان مرجعیت علمی قرآن

In recent years, various efforts have been made in Iran to develop innovations in the natural, human, and social sciences through the use of Qur’anic verses and authentic interpretive narrations, employing ijtihād-based and inferential methods. These attempts aim to establish the Qur’an as a foundational reference for scientific inquiry. This article, while acknowledging the theoretical premises of the emerging current known as the “scientific authority of the Qur’an,” argues that this trend introduces no genuinely new concepts, ideas, theories, or methods beyond those already found in the inferential approach to religious science, and therefore fails to open new horizons for scholars interested in the field. Furthermore, it is contended that none of the stated motivations for advancing this idea at the present time provide sufficient justification for its pursuit. Ultimately, it appears that proponents of this movement seek to construct a new intellectual current by appealing to statements made by Iran’s Supreme Leader concerning the Qur’an’s scientific authority.
