This research, within the framework of the theoretical structure of political culture, examines the dimensions and angles of the connection between Sufism and society and politics in Kurdistan. The research is qualitative and conducted using the narrative analysis method. The research field was focused on the followers of the Qadiriyyah disciples in Kurdistan, during which 30 people were interviewed. The findings indicated that most participants did not have an egalitarian attitude towards women and considered the positions of caliph and sheikh to be masculine. They believed in conditional tolerance in the face of religious and customary tastes in society. The extent of their social trust was mainly in their fellow-professionals and their social and institutional participation was limited to charitable institutions in times of crisis and based on religious duty. The participants' institutional connection was instrumental and accompanied by withdrawal from government agencies. Due to their lack of inefficiency, they considered officials and administrative institutions untrustworthy and, with doubts about their political usefulness and effectiveness, they had adopted negative participation. According to the collective narrative, the components of the participants' political culture are close to a limited political culture, and some signs of a pragmatic political culture were also seen among them.
